Design and Build Quality

Extra slim and sleek just weighs 120 grams and 8.2 mm thickness, this extra light weighted smartphone with sleek dimensions measures 141.2 x 71.74 x 7.95  is very easy to carry with one hand almost nonexistent feeling in the hands.  Designed with a metallic finish and curved 2.5D glass; this smart product of Asus is a Perfect option for those who want not too fancy and also something that not too bland or boring.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Live is well equipped with the volume rocker and power button on the right side which help in tactile and ergonomics as intended. A hybrid card slot on the left side can carry two sims or 1 sim plus one micro-sd card. Unfortunate about ZenFone Live are the capacitive touch buttons at the bottom of the display are not backlit and the lack of a fingerprint scanner that most of the Smartphones within this budget can offer.

Well built and good looking product of Asus has the 3.5 mm jack and a microphone for noise cancellation on top. The Asus Zenfone Live has a 5.0 inch IPS LCD Display with 1280*720 pixels (HD) resolution. The phone is perfect to use in daylight or when you’re outside as it has a bright display with non-reflective nature. Again downside about this phone is color saturation which is dull and not more accurate. 2.5D curve glass on the front gives nice touch feel and experience but any gorilla glass protection has not mentioned by the manufactured.

Performance and Battery Backup

A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 is the biggest downside of this latest product. Not an ideal device especially for a gaming purpose because of a two generations old processor. The phone comes with a 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space and only 10GB of it are available for end users. Although storage space of this device can be extended up to 128GB via a micro-SD card slot. For almost two years we can avail the free storage up to the 100GB on Google Drive as added by the Asus.

The smartphone has a 2,650mAh battery and also equipped with all connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G with VOLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.

Performance is not up to the mark of this pricey phone, even opening and closing application is also accompanied by an odd delay but basic tasks or day to day activities like phone calls, text, and Whatsapp; internet browsing etc. can be done smoothly.

The battery takes large time for charging like from zero to fully it takes nearly 2.45 hours and also discharge early if you are a heavy user although from low to moderate usage it lasts almost a day.

Call Connectivity

As per our feedback quality of phone calls and connectivity of Asus, Zenfone Live is decent. With a VOLTE support, you are offered to make calls from JIO HD network. This device comes with a mono 5-magnet loudspeaker with the smart amplifier that gives acceptable high-fidelity sound with very less distortion. Background noise is automatically detected and eliminated by the built-in dual MEMS microphones.

Camera

Asus latest device equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2/2 aperture, 82 degree wide view angle and a ‘soft-light’ LED flash. It’s an Asus’s prominent name in good and wide-looking selfies by a 5-megapixel front camera. Pre built real-time beautification feature cannot be copied or transferred for use in another smartphone. Beautylive App feature smoothes facial blemishes or extends the live filters in real time that can beautify your live videos, like you do with your selfies. It’s a Best and worlds first smart phone ever for real-time beautification technology for livestreaming videos.

Conclusion

What we can call it just an average phone in terms of performance. There plenty of things are missing or downside like old processor and software, average battery life, only 16GB storage space, average rear camera, lack of fingerprint sensor which can be access in other smart phone with in the same range.
